Hundreds of people every year benefit from the services Hospice of Lansing & Stoneleigh Residence provide throughout the community.
We offer Bereavement Counseling and Support Groups for schools, churches, and businesses as well as individual community members. These services are offered whether or not there was a previous relationship with Hospice of Lansing and/or Stoneleigh Residence.
The Caregiver Retreat provides a day of respite and relaxation for family caregivers. This free event has education, food, health vendors, retail therapy, massage and more! Respite sites are available for loved ones. The Caregiver Retreat is typically held each Spring by the Alzheimer’s Association.
Advance Care Planning assistance is available for individuals in the community who wish to prepare living wills and durable (medical) powers of attorney. There are many ways to make a meaningful contribution, including a memorial, tribute or annual gift, or a planned gift such as a bequest, life insurance policy or trust.
Hospice of Lansing and Stoneleigh Residence also sponsor special initiatives for underserved populations. These initiatives are offered to minorities, veterans, and children who are in need – but often don’t access – to Hospice care programs.
